When choosing a branded bag, what matters is not only the visual side, but also the fabric type, size, construction, shape and the method of applying the logo.
Branded bags can be manufactured in both small and large quantities. The specific model is chosen based on the bag’s purpose and how often it will be used. For everyday use, a denser material and a durable construction are more practical.
The logo can be applied either by printing or by embroidery. The choice depends on the complexity of the design, the number of colors, the fabric type and the desired visual result.
The Leader sewing factory (Uniforms.ge) has been working in textile production for ten years. As part of an order, the bag’s material, size, color and design can be agreed upon, and if needed, a trial sample can be prepared as well.
How is the bag fabric chosen?

Choosing the fabric is one of the most important questions in branded bag manufacturing. Fabric weight is measured in GSM, and it determines how dense the material will be, how well it will hold its shape and what load it can withstand.
In the range of 100 to 150 GSM, the fabric is light and folds easily. Such material is practical for conferences, presentations, exhibitions and other events where the bag is mostly used with a small load.
In the range of 200 to 250 GSM, the fabric is denser and better withstands frequent use. Such branded cloth bags are often used in shops, corporate gifts and promotional kits.
If the fabric weight is 300 GSM or more, the bag is sturdier and holds its shape better. This option can be chosen for long-term use or when the product needs to make a stronger visual impression.
At Leader, the same principle of material selection is applied in the production of other products too. One of the factory’s directions is workwear, where the fabric is chosen according to the working environment and the intensity of use.
Printing or embroidery on bags?

The method of applying the logo is chosen according to the complexity of the design, the number of colors and the fabric.
Computer embroidery is justified when a relatively durable, higher-quality logo is needed. Embroidery withstands frequent use and washing. This method works especially well with relatively simple logos and a small number of colors.
In the case of printing on bags, the specific method is chosen according to the fabric type and the design.
The manufacturing of promotional textile items is based on a design and technical details agreed in advance. Before the order begins, the bag’s size, fabric, color, shape and logo placement are defined.
How does the ordering process work?
Branded bag manufacturing starts with a consultation. At the first stage, the purpose of the bag, the type of items it will carry, the frequency of use and the desired visual result are defined.
After that, the fabric is selected and the design is prepared. If needed, a trial sample is also made so that the size, color, shape and logo placement can be checked before production starts.
Just like clothing tailoring, bag production requires the details to be agreed in advance. After the sample is approved, sewing of the full batch, logo application and inspection of the finished products begin.
Small and large orders
Leader accepts both small and large orders. A small batch is convenient for new businesses, one-off events or companies that first want to test a small quantity of the product.
The factory offers customers various kinds of tailoring services. Among them are trousers tailoring and the production of various types of workwear.
The sewing factory is located in Tbilisi, so the details of an order can be agreed directly with the factory. Local production is especially practical when you need to see a sample, clarify the design or agree on various details of the order.
